Why was the Pland thread moved to Politics Pland?

It had nothing to do with local Puntland politics. It was a thread dealing with a national security issues. Sure it was pro-TFG thread and was spreading TFG propaganda written in pro-government website. All the more reason for us to debate the merits and substance of the article.

I think moderators should always err on the side of caution when deleting threads or moving them.

We come here for bruising debates. If all topics are moved and deleted, pretty soon we will end up talking about nothing but Iverson's latest tattoo and Britneys latest meltdown.

I wasnt in the discussion and I dont care about the thread one way or the other. But we should have order and consistency in the way the forum is moderated.

If news comes out of Puntland that 20 terrorists out of Burtinle were captured in Garoowe, then it belongs to Puntland section

If news comes out of Puntland that they caught a bunch of Mareexaans out of Caabudwaaq(or Gelinsoor, Xamar, Kismaayo, Luuq ) trying to blow up Boosaaso then it is national news. And should stay here. In the General section.
