2007 seems it be a thougher year for Somalis then those past 17 years of atrocities

Ethiopian invasion ,Moqdisho massacres , the fighting up north , and kismaayo , it seems like all of Somalia is boiling and about to explode

You left out the fact that the ICU provoked the war in the first place. A war they could not win. They thought everyone was afraid of them.........wrong.

i talked to family it is Mareexaan vs. Kablalax

A day ago, the "government" troops took a marehan technical saying they would induct it into the "tfg army". That car waxaa iska lahaa reer Maxamuud Guuleed who are ANTI-DAWLADA so reer Maxamuud Guuleed told the army to bring back the car now but afgaduud forgetting where he was and letting the ethiopians helping them out today in somalia GET TO HIS HEAD took the car and said "it is his personal car", as soon as that happened the mareexaan part of the tfg army and said Afgaduud if u dont bring back the car in TWO HOURS wadadii moorgaan baadraaci. the OGAADEEN who were still angry at mareexaan for taking back another vehicle mareexaan owned that they got through the ICU war went to mareexaan and said "waad gardarantihiin" adaan koojaar iyo wax kale. as soon as ogaadeen said that mareexaan said "waan gar daranahay so maaha" ok so they immediately TOOK BACK THE CAR INFRONT OF THE HOUSE AFGADUUD LIVES IN AND HIS LIL GUARDS and closed of kismaayo's neighborhoods, as soon as kablalax came trying to team mareexaan, we started knocking the lil bastards out senseless

Coal burning and cutting down trees were outlawed

pirating was outlawed

Car Jacking or Isbaaros were lifted

Inter-clan marriage was ordered (eg Midgaan)

Somaliland was in negiotation with ICU

Civilians took over most of the leadership (no warlords or Military men)

Weapons were collected
Business were reopened

garaad there is nothing tfg about this war, it is pure Mareexaan vs. Kablalax. one can't take on mareexaan so absame and harti have united to take on us after getting back our vehicle infront of afgaduud's house like we got our other vehicle back right in the middle of ogaadeen.

The ICU refused to recognize the primacy of the TFG.

The ICU refused to renounce violence to annex the Ogaden, causing Ethiopian annoyance.

The ICU refused to renounce Shari'a, causing suspicion from the United States.

Those things caused backlash. It doesn't matter how wonderful the ICU might have been otherwise. They started this war, and their remnants are now working to perpetuate it. ISn't that obvious?

The ICU will not be allowed to govern Somalia. Given that fact, the only sensible course for the Hawiye would be to get behind the TFG and work towards legitimate elections. They won't, of course, and Somalia will become even more focked up than it already is, if that's possible.
