Daallo Airlines built the Galkacayo Airport and Beledweine Airport. It also contributed to the refurbishment of Mogadishu International Airport during the ICU's time. Daallo also paid 50,000 dollars to refurbish Kismaio and Biodaba airports.

Engaging in philanthropy and donating some of the profits to political parties is a form of marketing strategy employed by companies when they become big enough. Daallo has been doing this for years, bribing the warlords to secure the different landing strips in Mogadishu and building new airports where none-existed before like Gaalkacio.

That's like building a new cell phone tower in a new residential complex. It's common business to expand to be able to provide service to a wider customer base.

Daallo is not only building or helping with building new Airports but also Daallo is opening up a whole new income generating outlet for those locals. Its matually beneficial to both sides. Its like the old Chinese proverb, give a man a fish and you feed him for the day, teach a man how to fish and you feed him for life.
