Preparing for Ramadan

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

How are u preparing for Ramadan ?

I am preparing by:

1. Shopping at the Halal suuq for all the ingredients for afuur

2. Contacting all my Rer Xamar friends & neighbors & rekindling the relationships because their afuur kicks arse.

3. Going to the Masjid more often so as not to stand out during Ramadan

4. Calling all my female acquaintances and telling them I am out of town for Ramadan.

5. Making sure all my clothes are dahiir

6. Changing my work hours to leave early.

I can't wait until Ramadan.

DS,

The typical Lamagodley afuur has 4 dishes.

The typical Rer Xamar afuur has 10 dishes.

The best part is that this is their ordinary food and nothing special.

Tears come to my eyes when they pack some away for me in tupperware to eat later on. I used to get 30 sambuus every 2 weeks for free Cool

What? When have I ever given that impression??

I always speak from a political perspective but I have no hard feelings or ill will towards anyone. The Democrats and Republicans fight for political party, each one wants to completely diminish the others presence in national politics, but they are people that drink champaign with each other and live by each other. Many of them are even close friends.

Don't confuse everything with politics.

Dowladsade,

We have both been on this forum long enough your ignorance in this and other recent matters is highly questionable. If it's really an issue for you, go read through some of my early posts. Sheesh.....
