In a situation like this calling someone's mother derogatory words I think is the best option since one's hooyo is secret.

Mahamed Dheere was threaten over the phone...A cowardly act if you ask me, but aren't all the anti-TFG crew behind masked faces; no surprise here.

I too would have given someone the same treatment if I was in that kind of situation.
