I was alright watching it in the same Cinema, packed seats, a lot of cadaans and onnly a handfull of somalis attended apart from the people i was with.
The movie i found to be real good immediatly from the start when they showed those warlords shooting up all the women and children who came to collect their food.

The only thing that stuck to me about this movie was when the Soldier said "Skinnies on the roof"

I sank in my seat, my friends didn't say a word but we all were thinking the same thing, including those other handfull of somalis sitting about 10 rows from us down the front

It was ok. I didn't know too much about the events it was based on so to me it seemed like another bloody violent african movie.

Old part of Xamar was build by Omani Arabs and Persians....so whats so bad about filming it in Morocco with the same style of buildings?

BTW Hollywood did great using West Africans to portray as Southern Somalis, they look identical
