I think you forgive, but the wounds are still fresh in ur memory. Or maybe you guys become a budy friends after the incident, that's what revives the whole think. Just avoid even if it's a close family.

My dime.

Hilaal,

That could be it too. I do feel and want to forgive but the wounds might just be fresh and it will take time. :( Thanks sis.

If you want to forgive them but CAN'T, the best thing to do is to talk to them... have a decent conversation without offending the person and let them know whatever that's on your mind.

I personally find it hard to forgive someone after they've crossed the final line. Good luck!

[quote="Ismahan123"]Suppose there is someone who has caused you great distress and harm and have decided to forgive them despite them not asking for forgiveness or offering an apology. However, every time you remember the individual or come in contact , you are distressed all over again and angry. How do you deal with that? Obviously, it seems, even though one wants to believe they have forgiven, its otherwise or is it that its hard to forget what happened?

Anyway, I'm usually not the one to hold grudges and like to move on from an unfortunate situation but this one is hard to deal with but I want to MOVE from it wallahi but keep coming back to square one emotionally. :x

This is Deja Vu for me

ismahan walaahi am going tru same Exact Situation too.......ooohMiiiGoood

I have the same feelings about someone... Well some guy.....
