Babygal is ignorant of the Sultan's sudden arrest. The Sultan was a man of "mercurial image, "Man of unusual influence", "A man of mercurial image", and "A man of unusual strength"" as they described him but the British feared his Sultanate which was independent from the British rule of Somaliland would hence inspire another costly Mad Mullah uprisings. Many clans came under the sultan as his recognized border was at the Garadag.

The Italians first bombarded his palace and it failed to kill or weaken his power. However, it turned out that it was a complicit mission to make him seek support from the British against the Italians.
When he met dignataries and officers from Britain, they surrounded him and told him that he was under arrest.

Colonial Britain knew that the Warsangelis are suicidal fighters and would attack whereever he is held as a political prisoner provided that it's either inside Somalia or Somaliland. That is why they flew him to Sychelless.
He was like Axmed-Gurey and Mandella combined.

I actually Heard the Warsangeli sultaan was put in a container by Cadde Muuse for several days as punishment. I read it on a Somali news site and it said 'konteenar'
