I heard Cadaado is booming. In fact I will try to find an interesting article I read a couple of months ago about a fellow diaspora that has been improving the state of city.

Re: Cadaado International Airport
It had a small military airstrip b4 i left many years back. I heard its been converted to civilian but i don't
have much information about the dimensions of the airport/airstrip to give you right now.
Other than the small airstip/airport, the place is boooming am told, lots of new buildings cropping up from everywhere. somalida from diaspora are settling there in large numbers due to the security the place offers compared to the nearby unstable southern parts of somalia

I don't know what to call it. arabising or desufilizing? B4 THE 80's sufism was the norm and then a couple of sheikhs came from madina and makka. somali version of the hijaab was introduced, then came the indho-shareer, the whole of garissa became cabaayad and veil moving. sufism was anihilated by early nineties. late nineties waxa lo kale baxay alitxid, takfiiri, salafi etc imika i don't even kno what is going on...but I'm sure u will fit in as long as u speak arabic and waving a shahada frm one of the carabaha
