You are right he didn't align himself with al qaeda and the public loved and supported him. This Godane guy is a coward thief

Death of Ceyrow changed little with the group. The only thing that changed is Ethiopians left. If Ceyrow was still alive today Shabaab would still be fighting.

Ceyroow Raximallah was a true salafist but also nationalist. He hated both Amxaar and the mercennaries Amisom.
Unlike Godane, Ceyroow raximallah at the time when he was killed he held dialogue with officials from Maxkamadaha Islaamigga( Abu Xudeyfa AUN came in the name of ICU) to disolve disagreements between them.
I think if he was alive, he wouldnt talk to TFG lead by sharif aslong amisom is here but he would talk to them after they leave and try to recreate something in the place of UIC. The only difference would be that foreigners agenda wont be visible as it is today with bint godane leading the group. So no crap as prolonging the war even if they(shabab) captures somalia.

Thank Allah he martyred before the fitnah, if he was alive i would say the same thing about him like godane, aweys etc.

The comparison u make is absurd. He held talks with the ICU officials not the TFG. Shabaab hold talks with Xisbul Islam all the time

ICU at that time was still lead by sharif who entered into talks with tfg.
Why would Ceyroow talk to a organisation who entered talks with tfg?
It shows how different he was than bint zubayr.

The shabab today made xisbul aweys a enemy for themselves.

Not correct. Ayro was killed before the TFG and Shariif started talking.'

Shabaab and Xisbul Islam regularly have dialogue with each other, that is more of the relationship Ayro had with the ICU

Sorry mate your timeline is off

whats the point of having dialogue when shabaab just stabbed in the back of xisbul aweys in bakool?
I dont thnk that was the relationship of Mujahid Ceyrow aun and ICU.

Whatever would happen if ceyrow was alive, i know for sure i would condemn him if he behaved like how aweys/godane behaves today and criticize him severely.

So Shirib u still support shabab?

Why do I get the feeling that Hutuking makes up his own record of history as time passes; sometimes you can catch him slipping and discussing the events of 2016 and he doesn't even notice that he's totally off the grid.
