You know in a very ironic way, Union might have a point. Islam does not speak about homosexuality per se, Islam talks about sodomy. It is the same case with a man desiring a woman but being able to prevent fornication. A difference between the feelings and the act which is considered reprehensible. I used to be under the impression they chose that way but when I look at the suicides of these kids recently, there is no way my intelligence can lead me to deduce it is a simple choice like the choice between wearing a green shirt or a red shirt today. Why would these kids be drawn to a life that can lead them to find death as the only option if they have the choice to get out? Whether it is biological, psychological as Half mentioned with the case of molested kids, or even environmental I no longer believe they have the choice like how we understand choice to be. Hopefully there will be a day soon when the scientific deduction of homosexuality is completely settled and if it is psychological, they can get the help they need and if it is biological there will be a way to prevent it as like many other biological disorders have been prevented.
