Subxannallah, inalilah waa ina ilahyi raajicuun. You call the humiliation and misery of Somali people 'for the best'. The millions whom have fled, the millions who have died, the millions who are in Libyan, Italian, Greek, Yemeni jails? The millions that starved, the millions of people who are refugees. You call all that for the best?

Let's not forget the trials the people of the diaspora face on a daily basis, the thousands who are in American, Canadian, UK jails, the reports of human trafficking, and the thousands who have lost their religion and culture in the west.

I genuinely do not see how one can argue it was "for the best" :?

It was a dictatorship it was going to happen sooner or later, when this is all over somalia and somalis will be better for it, nothing makes people stronger than hardship!

You didn't destroy a dictatorship, you destroyed Somalia. Get with the reality!

So what, Siad Barre is not Somalia. Its not Siad Barre who is suffering today. Its not like Siad Barre was gonna live forever, some people should had thought about the consequences and how to deal with changing the politics. Guns will not get you anywhere, it led you as a refugee.
