Foreign Construction firms lining up to win contracts in PL

Post by Monk-of-Mogadishu »

China, Turkey, EU, US, Japan, & South Korea are all lining up to get contracts, and the majority are construction firms looking to work on infrastructure! Those Koreans are beasts, let's hope PL hires them!
Shirkado shisheeyo oo saf usoo galay inay qandaraasyo ka helaan Dowlada Puntland(Xog hoose)
Posted by Pi on January 26th, 2012

Dubai(Pi) sida aan ku helnay xog rasmi ah waxaa maalmahaan dambe soo badanaya Shirkado shisheeyo oo xiriir lasoo samaynaya Dowlada Puntland kuwasoo usoo shukaansi tagay inay helaan Qandarasyo, qaarkood waxay soo kaxayteen qubaro/aqoonyahano Soomaali ah.

Shirkadaha waxaa kamid ah kuwo ka kala yimid wadamada Shiinaha, Turkiga, Yurub, Maraykanka Japan iyo Kuuriyada koonfureed, shirkadahaan waxaa u badan kuwa dhisa guryaha, wadooyinka iyo kuwo doonaya inay kala taliyaan Dowlada dhinaca dhaqaalaha iyo maalgashiga.

sida aan xogta ku helnay Dowlada Puntland way diidey inay wax hadal ah u furto shirkadahaan.

Tan iyo markii la shaaciyey in Shidaal laga helayo Puntland ayaa waxaa soo kordhaya danaynta la danaynayo Soomaaliya, gaar ahaan Puntland iyo in shirkada walbaa ay gacanta ku dhigto Qandaaas ay ka doonayaan deegaanada Puntland.

Waxaa kaloo jira xiriir lala soo sameeyey ganacsato reer Puntland ah oo ay lasoo sameeyeen ganacsato carbeed oo ka yimid wadamo ay kamid tahay Masar.

tell them to fuck off.

use ur own local contruction companies this will create jobs and will hire the locals. puntland will then just hire consultants to work with the local contruction companies and a few engineers. u dont want 1 million chinise to work while the local population is unemployed. this way you will gain the knowledge and the oil money will circulate inside puntland rather then going to china.

The Chinese will build crap that breaks down in a year, will flood your markets with their cheap shitty goods, and have a tendency to import Chinamen to do all the work

Korea or Japan

You don't need anywhere near 1 million foreign workers in the state to make this work. It didn't happen in Angola or Zambia. Being a Construction worker does not require a degree. We only need these companies and their professionals to makes things happen.

the 1 million is a figure of speech its not ment to be taken literally. you will hire consultans to help the local contruction companies they are the professionals u need. the chinese will contribute nothing to the economy they will sleep in barracks and eat imported food from china. the somali worker will hire or biuld a house and he will spent his cash inside puntland.

Good news. Any "contract" should def. come with a job creating opportunity FOR THE LOCALS in mind, though. If the locals are thought of as incapable for doing the work, there should still be a prerequisite for training/teaching them and advising them throughout, and never settling for the foreigners to build things from start to finish! This way investment will at least be different from money received from donation communities, and employment will help eliminate poverty!

lol. You cant trust any of these Asians, tbh. Koreans have a foot in many projects on their quest for natural resources, all across Africa. Where they can negotiate to place a workforce they will, and have. It's all about how bad they want the deal, and how good the leader of the country is at negotiating for it. you're def. right abt the Chinese flooding the market, tho. Same goes for india. Majority of the pharmaceutical drugs in Somalia are from these two countries. Most expired.

Totally agreed with the others; Korea, Japan, Turkey, and Brazil are the best in this respect. Unlike the Americans & EU states they won't try to get political about shit, and unlike the chinks they won't bring their whole f-king tribe to Somalia.
