One of the saddest movie I ever watched. Especially at the end where he names his daughter Jane. Why do people do that? Naming ur child after a lost love/ past relationship.

I thought it was a sweet and kind of weird thing to do. WHy would you name your child after the woman you loved and lusted for but never had . Or maybe he just liked to think of his daughter as the child that he and Jane could have had together if things went differently. Kind of unfair to the childs mother don't you think?

Its one of Jane Austin’s movies actually a biography of her before she became famous.

Beans watch it. Its good and sad. I hate movies where there isn't happy ever after and I liked this one.
