That is one of the Ministers that Saacid is about to name. He has been un-employed for 21 years. don't be surprised to see him reach 3 months into the ministrial Office.original dervish wrote:You might wanna buy a pair of socks for the oday, second one down.

From what I heard this "government" is just window dressing.
The real power brokers are in the shadows, comprising Islamists (who were rejected by the technical committee), and Hawiye action group members.

I am just wondering who are the members of Hawiye action group that people are talking about. I am Hawiye and I have never heard of them. I doubt even if the entire hawiye community are aware of their existence. They must be eliens. How come only Majerteen know the existence of that group?original dervish wrote:From what I heard this "government" is just window dressing.

Caburiye,
There was a guy called Avvocato Cabdiwahid who was head of the HAG. He had some very important speeches in which he exposed the threats to Hawiye and was a brilliant Sicilis brother who spoke the truth.

Don`t be alarmed, we`re not accusing your average "Joe Six pack" Hawiye.
The HAG is a sectarian/tribalist organisation, that sows the the seeds of hatred and mistrust between Hawiye/darood.
Their whole MO is based around the false premise that Daroods are getting more than their fair share in the new Somalia.
Instead of stabilising and developing their degaans, they have chosen the path of bigotry.
Among their number are a group of shadowy "businessmen", who have profited during 20 years of instability.
They cover themselves with a veneer of Islam/muslim brotherhood, but in reality they are the same people who were the bag men for the warlords/moryaan.
It is this group who have influence over the new "president", and are leading him down a perilous path.
