Most young girls wear a headscarf due to family pressure. The family itself should teach their daughters the true meaning of hijab. As for jeans, well can't blame young girls for trying to blend in, they grow up in the west but we expect them not to pick up western attributes? Cmon...

You're exactly right. It's about appearances with some people. You cannot believe how many hijabis I've met who don't pray, aren't religious, and who do not try to conduct themselves in the manner recommended by the Qur'an. But parents these days seem to stress that their daughters wear the hijab without really caring whether or not they learn the teachings of the Qur'an, to have their children memorize as much of the Qur'an as possible without knowing the messages it conveys, among many other things.

I think that Muslims, of all generations, should try to sit down and make time to read the Qur'an in a language they can understand, to try to learn and understand the words, not just recite. Then reflect on it and discuss it. If this was made to be an activity that the family partakes in together, it could make a positive change in the behaviours and mentality of many Muslims.

Some girls are forced to wear a hijab so act like hoes regardless. You can't put a hoe in a hijab and expect her to act good. Hoes gon be hoes. I really wish these parents didn't force their daughters to dress a certain way. If you're going to make them wear hijab then teach them the equities and why she is wearing a hijab.

P.s that chick needs to mind her own business, she shouldn't be observing what other people are doing, it has nothing to do with her NOSEY ASS!
