You wanna the truth..there is nothing comparable to the Kenyan Education..girl I sat down with a teenager relative who was born in the state of VA who now in whatever the flip they call high school over there "form blah blah ". And girl I was grounded to find out the kid had advanced Uni education..while I was there I can recall seeing a personal after school home teacher..their parents were extremely strict .. They would have them do school thing daily
Life was easy and simple in Nairobi..keep in mind my friend that suju kids always excell in UNi whenever they study here..I once remember escorting a visiting teenager Uni prospect ( Somali girl) and she was just shocked at the material.. She was like " but I had this in grade 5
Btw, forget about somaliland or Somalia's education.. Every Faraxa, Ali dheere and jacfar opened schools with redicalous names such as " British school" or "blooming private ". All are just so rudimentary .. The only school one can speak of in all of Somalia is Abaarao Tech..it is run by a white American kid
I will FB message you soon!
I'm telling u girl I got all the info for u.. Remember I was there like for 7months.. My siblings moved from here ( that's what religion does to you..it makes a whole family get away from a modern advanced nations) to find their kids good schooling, good Islamic teaching...it is just so amazing I tell ya.. While I was there , the gated neighborhood in south C had a macalin dugsi guy who had appointments with multiple houses after the school day.. I remember that the maid would older to get the tea ready and timir.. The macalin would sit at the head of the table and I would jus observe this childhood memory, it was a sight to be seen

I would go to Harar or dir dhawa
i here both cities have relative security and are 80% muslim, population wise.
the somali dominated cities in Ethiopia have too much politiking and back stabbing going on. I also thing Borama & Hargeysa are not a bad choice.
I am not sure about Bosaso or Garowe, i hear both tend to be very hot.

I loved it in kismaayo. I went there back in 06. It was beautiful. I was only 7 but i was running to and from the beach all on my own. Going to the beach everyday. playing around everyday. ONly have nature as your company. No TVs.OliveOil wrote:waryaahoy wrote:kismaayo. but mayber when this barre vs madobe fiasco ends.

In Burco Dhaqan celis is officially banned.
Dhaqan celis- dhaqan xun oo debedaha laga keenay oo dhulkeena lagu soo celinayo.

Olive don't even think twice about Borama Walahi. It is with out a shadow of a doubt the most peaceful and safest city in the entire Somali Peninsula , on top of that it has the most advanced social infrastructure as well. Education , healthcare, clean water where almost 90% of the magalada inhabitants have access to tap water just like in the west, are all readily available. on the other hand there is the famous ree Borama hospitality which is next to none walaahi in any Somali city as well as the best weather. In Hargaysa, ur family might face severe water shortage waayo mesh a biyo la'aan baa Loga guurayaa as well as the odd prejudice given that u are MR. Magalada has a healthy MR community and am sure your relatives would attest to that so you will be at home from the get go!
