Amat-Allah raised a good point. Child-rearing. Infact there's way less pressure on a man than a woman in most parts of the World. All a guy needs is a sustainable income (any random job will do) and a functioning private part then he's good to go. It's the woman who is expected to look good for her man, to keep the household in shape and to raise children well amongst other things. I get that I guess but have you noticed how Somali weddings are generally women-only? Only recently are the new generation making it mixed but even then you notice that the women who come, come because they can since they don't work lol.

Since you said you're going to get married in the coming future, how are you preparing yourself for the father/husband role mentally?
