Yep, I still am. I was doing a research about something and the ottoman empire kept on coming up, again, and again. I didn't know anything about this empire, so I began to read about them. Barbarossa came up and I was reminded by u here in somalinet when I read that name. Also, another shocking thing I read about is --the eunuchs! The Osmonians invented this--idea of castrating males-- that means, cutting off their penises so that they can serve as servants and teach women how to dance and stuff. No doubt, they were used as sex slave too. MY question is: how come old muslims were this pervert? I am also surprised to know the modern law of precedency was invented by the Ottoman. I think it was Sultan Suleiman. Very interesting.

Yep, I would agree. Prophet pbuh followers were the truest muslims. But u know the ironic contradiction is--One of the Sultans of the Ottoman empire-- I think the west call him Mehmed but really was muhammed bin something. He was educated from young age in strict Islam, and he was the one who conquered Constantinople. Something that the old Ottomon empire and the muslims Arabic fighters from the Prophet pbuh times could not achieve. This tells me, God is always on the side of people who follow strict Islam. I mean, of course God is always on their side, but I believe-- it is my belief, God does not interfere in the worldly events unless special circumstances like the advancement of true Islam, and by a true favored muslim.

Oh by the way, I am also introduced to "Sufism" which from what the Gaalos are telling me is opposite Shiah, and that they believed in praying outside the mosque, that means praying salat outdoor or any where, and not particularly following Quran. My conclusion is that- this is my opinion, is that the founder of Sufi was illiterate, and rather than face his inability to read Quran, began a new following where Quran was irrelevant. The more I get into sufism the more I love it. I'm definitely not very knowledgable in it but should be able to give a couple sentence describing it.

It is the inner dimension of islam that illuminates the outer dimension. It is science used to purify your heart and to rectify your actions. I genuinely believe that it is traditional islam and has been put in practice from the start. There are many figures within sufism such as Hassan Al Basri and Abdulqadir Jilani that have become exemplars of a true sufi.

And btw now I know you are lying about multi-nickers

It is all about the intention to pray, and like Original says- find a clean place and u can pray. I think Sufis is the hardcore sense of Islam while Shiah is the material or commercialism Islam. But Sunni---Prophet PBUH, is the best one as Original stated.

I see where you are coming from. The non muslim "Sufis" make sufism see unislamic. Still though your analysis of even Shias is one that I haven't heard. What makes them commercial?
