If it does expect a lot more countries to follow a similar path including
our own Somalia which is already divided up pretty neatly.

Yes btw, there is increased talk about dividing up Iraq into three countries if the conflict escalates even more which it likely will. Its going to be interesting.

Iraq already is 3 states, Kurdistan has been independent for a while now, while the shia have never had full control over the sunni lands,
now they lost what little control they had, because the sunni tribes hate maliki so much that they made a deal with the devil.
