The World's Population in 2050
In less than 35 years, the numbers are astonishing: 9.8 billion people on Earth.
What caught my eye are two things: DRC (Kinshasa) at #9. I thought the place was a mess with diseases, wars and sexploitation.
And there is an actual questionnaire where it asks if it is OK to beat up your wife. You'd be surprised with the women respondents.
Ethiopia is at #10. Rising population tide will buoy the Somali Region. In 2050, largest Somali population will be within Ethiopia. I put the estimate around 16 million Somalis in Soomali-Galbeed. It bodes well for the clans that inhabit there.

East Asian countries are going to become middle to high income countries and all those low paid crap jobs that China/Vietnam/Indonesia used to do will be outsourced to Africa.
Made in Ethiopia or Made in Congo will be the new Made in China/Made in Vietnam.

Re: The World's Population in 2050
Is there a correlation between a country's instability and their sexual desires? Wtf, the poorest and most unstable countries have the highest fertility rate meaning they have the most sexual reproduction.?Dadka faqiirkii miyay ka kacsi iyo is fuulitaaan badan yihiin dadka kale?
35 years is nothing walahi, and the Xabashis will have reached 200m by then. Thats a scary thought, they will be reversing the centuries old of Somalis pushing deep into Ethiopian territories. Now it will be Somalis who will be displaced and pushed all the way to the coastal areas or they will just bypass us all together and go settle the coast and OUR people will the right bang in their path. Kabahay nala dul marayaan walaahi

Horta Somalia 10 million weligeed ma dhaafto miyaa?
All these Ethiopians would one day start looking for new home and start moving east. And we should only accept the Somali speaking Ethiopians.
I heard the Afars/Oromos/Amharis are already the majority in Djibouti.

I guess every Somalia men has to marry 4 wife's
to increase the beesha but the again you will have be earning at least £500k a year to sustain the family.
Quality of life is better then a quantity.

This is a wake up call. Every Farax from now should marry 4 Xaliimos and produce at least 40 children. If we don't do this Somalis will be extinct

It's to do with opportunity and life progression. If you live in a wealthy society that has access to better education, healthcare and career opportunities you will consider marrying later and having less kids. If you live in a poor shithole where the chances of dying are higher, you'll have more kids because most won't survive anyway and the ones that do can support you.AGENT447 wrote:Is there a correlation between a country's instability and their sexual desires? Another trajectory I see in the Horn in the next 3 decades, though unscientific, is center of political, economic and social gravity would be trending in a northerly and westerly directions.
Cities like Djibouti, Borame, Hargeisa, Jigjiga and Dira Dhabe would account for most economic and population centers in the Somali peninsula.
Mogadishu, though vibrant, will lose its luster as the hub of Somalis.

60% out of a population of 700k is nothing, when Ethiopia is pushing 90 million. But good luck to our DJ cousins, they would certainly need it in the next couple of decades.RoobleAlWaliid wrote:GAMES wrote:

You need a visa to stay in Djibouti. Those Ethiopians almost never get resident visas, so I doubt Ethiopians will change the demographics much of Djibouti.GAMES wrote:60% out of a population of 700k is nothing, when Ethiopia is pushing 90 million. Something tells me they don't really enforce that law.Itrah wrote:You need a visa to stay in Djibouti. Either way, DJ would belongs to Ethiopia in the near foreseeable future when that train line is built.

Re: The World's Population in 2050
We are speaking of Ethiopia as if being a homogeneous society. There are close to 100 tribal languages spoken in Ethiopia with various and competing interests. Oromos hate Amharas and vice-versa, both hate Tigrays. Tigrays are no threat to Somalis, population wise. They are as langab as they come. Our concern should be the Amharas and Oromos, with the former being an existential threat to Somalis.
