While the ladies on Broad City might argue that it's "nature's pocket," there are still some things that should never go inside a vagina. A loaded firearm happens to be one of them.
On Monday evening, cops in Waco, Texas, pulled over Gabriel Garcia and Ashley Cecilia Castaneda at a stoplight. The couple was driving a 1998 Toyota Land Rover, which contained 2.7 grams of methamphetamine.

As the cops were in the process of taking the two to jail, Castaneda thoughtfully informed one of the officers that she had a gun in her vagina.
Sure enough, after a thorough pat-down, the police discovered that Castaneda was telling the truth. “A female officer searched Castaneda discovering she had in fact placed a loaded Smith and Wesson pistol inside her body cavity," Sergeant W. Patrick Swanton told KWTX 10 . "The weapon had a round chambered and a full magazine of bullets."
Swanton was relieved that the situation was resolved in a non-deadly manner, as it "could've been extremely dangerous for everybody involved."

He also said that this, ahem, situation occurs with surprising regularity, which is why officers have to give such thorough pat-downs.
"People don't believe this happens in real life. It happens much more than your average citizen would ever know," he said.

Castaneda has been charged with manufacturing/delivery of an illegal substance and unlawfully "carrying" a weapon. Both Castaneda and Garcia have been charged with possession.
And let's not forget to give a very special shoutout to the female officer who was tasked with "recovering" the weapon from its hiding place. You're the true hero here.
