As a person who believes in equal rights( i would'nt call my self a feminist or whatever ay dadku dhahaan) those kind of families should be sent to a court. The girl wasn't even qaan gaadh when she was married off to odayga ay sheegaso islaantu smh. Isn't the age of marriage 16+ in the somali countries/regions or is it just sheeko?

P.S am i considered a feminist if i believe in equal rights? Yacni men and women are same to God! God doesn't love a gender more than the other we're all his and we'll return to him one day.

As i said each gender is unique in it's own ways, there things women can do and men can't and vice versa but i'm talking about the way people live, sharing things toghether and equal,building a community together etc. Both genders should have equal rights to do so

That is feminsim its says men and women are equal point blank. Now that is bold face lie. it also tries to redefine gender identities.. men and women are not equal on the basis that they have biological innate gender role prefrences. They will argue the reason women want to stay at home take care of the child and engo in a role of motherhood is because society enforces it. which is nonsense.

Basically they are saying gender identities is a social construct.

Men and women are equally worth and deserving of no discrimination. But even that is violated when women are shamed for embracing their womanood and goes for a traditional role and its a must for her to equate herself to a man.

That feminity is bad for women they need to be masculine and men need to be more feminine.

Basically women have to be men and men have to be women.

That is the concept of feminism. And you highlighted at the bottom sadly men dont respect or treat their women nicely. That is based on not being feminine and encouraging masculine behavior in women.
