afgooye is a majority rahaweyn & bantu town my friend grew up there. https://youtu.be/cWAR4E88UT4
Afgooye has a population of around 79,400 inhabitants.[7] The broader Afgooye Districthas a total population of 135,012 residents.[8]

Afgooye main population
consists of the Geledi clan [9]
They even ruled you hutus in 18th to 19th century.
The Geledi are a Somali clan that live predominantly near the city of Afgooye. They are a subclan of the Rahanweyn and led the Geledi sultanate during the 18th and 19th century.[1] They are divided into two main lineage groups: the Tolweyne and the Yabadhaale.

hutus are orginally from shebelle dhexe and further up from that there, they are not orginally from shebelle hoose that is strictly biyomaal and rahaweyn territory that's why it was added to konfur galbeed just because hutus are moving further south and our in political scene doesn't mean that's there ancestral land.

hawiye are not even from juboyinka either go learn your history kid your bragging about others lands when your people are new comers from caydiid time I'm not going argue with you because you do this all the time moryaantaa destroyed zoomalia there is nothing to brag about.

P.s. ajuuraan is not hawiye they joined confederation later on.

Biyomaal deserve respect they were fighting your Italians rulers while hutus where bending over giving them their women and lands.

Biyomaal came from Ethiopia.
Lower Shabelle doesn't belong to them.
Apart from parts of Xaafada Horseed in Marka and ceeljaale where do they live in lower Shabelle.
Dadka rajo been ah laguma rido. HG dominate Lower Shabelle just like the dominate Galgaduud and Mudug.
Shalanbood, Baraawe, leego, Afgooye, Qoryooley, Janaale, Wanlaweyn, Kutunwaarey and Xaafada Hawlwadaag Marka are 100% HG or HG majority towns.

New comers kulaha we were in Lower Shabelle, Jubboyinka long before 91.

P.s. I proved Ajuuraan is JAMBEELE Hawiye in the other thread

Not sure how a topic about Godey became about Garissa and Afgooye but beentu ma fiicna especially in Ramadan.

Afgooye was long the biggest fresh produce market in the Somali Peninsula. The few Kikuyu backyard gardens cannot compete.

Lower Shabelle

Cabdullahi Ciise Maxamuud (AUN), the man who gave Somalia independence and created calanka maanta Somali harsanayso was Sacad HG born in afgoye, Shabellaha Hoose in 1921.
70 years before 91.
Proof HG was in lower Shabelle for centuries and they are not "new comers".

Lord Diplock wrote:For an Ogadeen exclusive town/city, none of these places come close to Garissa Town in my view. With the new devolved government, it will be even bigger than now.

In terms of Ogadeen cities/towns in Kenya, this is my list in terms of development and size.

1. Garissa
2. Habaswein
3. Masalani
4. Dadaab
5. Modagashe

Wajir town is half Ogaden (the southern side which is the most developed and densely populated area especially) and of course the refugee camps is full of Ogs.

The crown jewel of our towns in Kenya is Garissa and with a competent leader, it could grow to a phenomenal size. It's connected to Mombasa, Nairobi, and the whole of NFD. If the Kenyan government plans goes through, it's planned to be the centre of a major infrastructure.
Masalani is bigger/larger than Habaswein......
Masalani is the forth largest town in NFD after Garissa, Wajir and Mandera towns.

Talk is cheap :-@

Only Afmadow and Dhobleey are exclusive to you.

Salagle, Bu'aale, Badhaadhe are all shared areas. You are clueless and Guhad is a propaganda machine.
