The money makes no different to Somalia because the EU like the rest of the Western nations and agencies cleverly designed these 'donations/grants' around their own interests. That means certain agencies move the money from EU bank to their own accounts and in the process keep a percentage.

They then split x percentages between corporate lawyers, MPs (who helped them access the money/approve it via EU parliament).

Then it moves to new subsidiary groups such as those who can move it from EU-based accounts to ones based in Africa or licensed CIT/CVIT or simply Hawala transfer like Dahabshiil.

They then give Nairobi-based agents their cut. They then pay crooked Somali MPs who then assign the required job/contract to EU companies.

The EU companies then pay cut to the original EU signatories (MPs) and business affiliates.

They do little dodgy job, sign the paper and repeat.

If lucky Somalia sees 20-30% and that's why they love to announce they gave money to places like Somalia, Afghanistan, DR Congo———because 70% goes to them and there is no way to follow up

African Union Mission in Somalia has said it will soon vacate it is base in Stadia Mogadishu.

Contingent of the African Union peacekeepers were stationed at the stadium since 2006 when UN mandated AU troops were deployed in Somalia.

AMISOM Spokesman Joe Kibet has told Somali National News Agency that the peacekeepers will vacate the stadium soon to allow renovation of the sports facility.

“The troops will leave the stadium for another base but I can’t exactly tell you the date,” he told SONNA.

He added that the mission (AMISOM) is preparing another base for the troops currently stationed at Stadium after their vacation.

Somali government has requested AMISOM to vacate the stadium in Mogadishu several times before to start refurbishment of the facility that contains various sports fields.

Sports Ministry has said that the facility is crucial for the revival of sports and culture I the country that was heavily affected by the two decades of the civil war.

Stadia Mogadishu was built by China in 1978, the 65000 capacity stadium was one of the best in the continent at the time.
