I think the rural HY communities can unite for a cause and that their unity would transcend the current political disunity between the Garxajis. Through unity they could put more pressure on their political representatives, not accept injustice like in the case of Gashaamo and present an alternative for the Cidagalle but also other Isaaqs who are tired of this unholy alliance that has destroyed many communities, including my own.

When it comes to Gashaamo, certain elders and politicians are in the pocket of the government and the government is in the pocket of Ethiopia. The government tells these corrupted elders and politicians to calm down the rural communities, prevent vendetta (Aarsi) and as a result you have a community that accepts injustice, not that they want to but because of harmful 'loyalty' which makes it easier for the Ethiopian barya (slave) in Jigjiga to commit similar crimes again because no one will resist.

I'm related to one of those useless ministers (Cadaani) who couldn't publicly condemn the atrocities (majority of the people killed were from his sub clan) because his salary comes from the government and the government is dependent on revenue from Ethiopia (not the other way around and Ethiopia being dependent on SL's ports).
