Jesus H. Christ, could you be more vague in your answer? How about it we get down to the nitty gritty and explain the DETAILS.
And the reason you don't is because you can't. You think I haven't done any homework on the subject? You see, ol' Mohammed, he developed this great system allright. The way the system worked was, he gave instructions, claimed they came from God, and that was that. The problem is, that he left out how we are suppose to rule ourselves in the post-Prophet world. How governments are selected, how leaders are chosen. How you develop checks on power to ensure leaders don't abuse their power. Little things like that. He just never quite got around to that part. So while he did explain the requirement to shave pubic hair, and how to wash your a$$, he forgot to tell people what the structure of Islamic government is suppose to look like. Imagine that. And that, little sister, is why you can't tell me. There are all these sweeping statements of how Islamic government is fair and just - but no explanation how we get this fair and just government. Just that it is.
You guys are hopelessly focked.

Chilli
Even if one accepts that the Shari'a are instructions from God, the Shari'a is a legal code, not a governing code. I notice you did not answer a single question I asked above. The reason why, of course, is you can't. Because Islam doesn't specifiy how to construct a government. It doesn't instruct what such a government looks like. Call me strange, but I would expect this might be a small problem in todays world (for that matter in yesterdays world. Look at the conflicts over power struggles even during the early years of Islam).
Are you ready to simply leave your fate in the hands of those who are pushing a political Islamic agenda and let them decide what you can and can not do in every detail of your life and your society? You don't want to have a say in that?
You guys are just focked. These shitheads are going to do to you exactly what the current crop of political leaders are doing, but they'll be careful to make sure they're oppression always has the name "Islamic" in front of it.
