A few days ago I read a topic where one of the boons was complaining about inter boon issues. One of them said and I’m paraphrasing if we don’t get our way, there will be no more boon card. This is the mentality that Somaliland started, where every clan that is defeated politically threatens to leave the union when they don’t get their way. There is no debate on Somaliland especially when they claim other people’s lands.

The biggest anti-Somaliland block seems to be our local friend less vultures from Punaniland. These creatures are munafaaq's who are against anyone rising besides them. They are so small minded that they cant see there's more to life than empty bravado or empty claims of being the biggest fish in a fish tank. Somebody needs to tell these spoilers the world is a ocean. If your neighbor is winning its natural you win, be it Migdisho or Hargeisa. They seem to have made it their manifesto to stop anyone making any progress..MrSinister wrote: Mon Jun 07, 2021 7:35 am A few days ago I read a topic where one of the boons was complaining about inter boon issues. They dont care about Sool/Snaag/Togdheer, they give them nothing in their region, what will they give them by keeping them in Somalia where the cake is shared even more. All they offer is using them for their own interests...

Yes. But which President wants to go down in history as the man who completely signed away Somalia's access to the Red Sea? It's too important and strategic. Even Aideed at the height of Irirism years was not on board with SL breaking away. It's like saying we want wax geed saaran to get it but we can't even walk let alone climb.

They are right, the inception of the Somali state was built on dulmi and qiyaano. It’s the Italian mafia mindset. No doubt. I’m influenced greatly by the Italians. The public perception of me is a Neo-Kacaanist. No I’m not. I’m influenced by it but no I’m not a Kacaanist. That’s a simplistic reading of me. I’m far more cunning and shrewd than that. I’m very liberal towards other Somalis. But they are very conservative towards us and even hateful.
Somalia has no defensive buffer zone it is thin and flat which means any army can waltz in like Ethiopia in the 1990s and the 2000s. The borders should be 400 KM into Galbeed. Not to forget since the country is thin it is easy for foreigners to arm rebels to attack and deal heavy blows. 77 wasn't just emotion or Somalinimo. There was water and defence security part of it. 77 was 13 years after an attempted invasion.
Somalia is flat and borders 2 hostile nations. The government needs 1000KM of distance away from any border.

Eventually it will come down to swallow their pride and go with the program.. Because the altarnative is war. If Somalia ever gets an army amra embargo is lifted and unites all of its clan states defeats shabaab. The issue of Somaliland isn't going away. Its either let's be peaceful neighbours. Or it's war. I know it's hard Ethiopia swallowed it's pride well not the amhara they never agreed with Eritrea independence but the oromo and the tigray did. At the end it gets down. Either Somalia defeats somaliland in battle and it conquers it. Or it will lose the war and it signs the divorce papers.nine wrote: Mon Jun 07, 2021 2:18 pmKhalid Ali wrote: Sun Jun 06, 2021 3:54 pm Good nine your very honest if your clan was in Somaliland. Yes there is a possible outcome that will make me support Somaliland 100%, its a small chance but if Farmaajo is not elected President, I will not only support SL but I will join the SL army and defend it with my life.
Right now I am just neutral towards SL politically, I support their development, peace and nidaam like I support any Somali.
