Isaaq hawiye and darood will eventually all become their own ethnic Group

Post by Khalid Ali »

In the course of the next century or so, the tribal identities of the Somalis are likely to undergo a significant transformation. tribes such as the Isaaq, Darood, and Hawiye may gradually evolve into distinct ethnic groups, each cultivating unique customs and a robust sense of ethnic identity. This emerging identity could come to eclipse the broader Somali identity, which at present is primarily defined by a shared language rather than a deeply ingrained cultural or ethnic unity.. The ethnic unity part or ethnic cultral unity will also change., the Hawiye living with Ugandans and bantus will adopt some ugandan culture or burundi culture , the ogaden in Jubbaland daarood will adopt more kenyan culture so their culture will change from the Hawiye. so once the traditional cultural outlook changes., the ethnic identity will also change
The Isaaq is a whole different case the Isaaq have all developed to be under a sadaat republic the Somaliland nation hood nationality , they dont see themselves as the other Somalis , only by language now and days , in kenya they call themselves the sharif isaaqs back in the 1900s early 1900s.
And now they have their own country national identity ,the Isaaq is now already in the making to be its own ethnic group.

No, that's delusional, why would southerners adopt ugandan culture; are you high? they are only there mostly stationed within military barracks living a seperate life from the populace. And btw somali Bantus are pretty much fully assimilated.
The somalis in the NFD pretty much live isolated in a cultural sense and there's very little intermingling on a social level, so that place will remain mostly the way it's. Again the same applies to Kenyans as it does the Ugandans. Lastly Somalis being entirely the same on a cultural sense is a myth, we're very similar in every sense however there has always been variation in traditions, dances and in linquistics that has always existed but yet it's never resulted in a seperate ethnic identity.

Isaaqs already developed a unique identity , based on not just leanage but real common struggles ,Victories and political goals based on SNM legacy and Somaliland sovereignty . Every died isaaq mujaahid has big biography book , describing how the Mujahid killed the enemies, mainly daarood.

18, may is celebrated 2 weeks none stop. All over the world. It. became the Christmas like season of Somaliland . All this shows we share Less common interests with almost all Somalis. While I think the Somali language will continue to thrive , no doubt major Somali clans are completely shifting apart.

From my point of view that's good for the stability of the horn at moment , How ever a dominant group will be needed eventually. And that will only come if foreigners pull out out of the Somali affairs. The problem now is , any time for example hawiye is defeated some random Black or White guy is reviving them. This put Somalis never ending circle.
