Kosar, Daud and Fahiye are quite popular names amongst gadabuursi's. We also have alot of people whose surname starts with "aw" like in Aw yaasin or Aw axmed but that doesn' t mean that it confined to us alone. I think we ( somalis) are very creative when it comes to nicknames Laughing

Sulub, Duwane = are probably Ogaden male names
Dhaayoow, Mayow, Mad, Maadeey, Eedin, Iisho, Bannoy = are probably Raxanweyn names
Awees, Berkaan, Biibi, Maano, Caddey Saalax, Saalim = are probably Reerxamar names (Saalax can also be Majeerteen)
Xaayow, Gaafow, Maxaad, Waasuge, Hiraabe, Calaso, Carafey, Cabdiyo = are Southern Hawiya names
Shuun, Sabaad = are probably Isaaq female names
I cannot say for sure that one of the names belongs 100% to a one somali group, because we mixed up
