Miserable Vegans

I have a co-worker who is vegan, and every time we go out to eat we argue about how killing cows, chicken, and other animals for food are wrong, it’s cruel to eat anything that comes from animals, blah blah etc. I tell you it’s quite embarrassing. I hate when friends try to convert you into their way of thinking. If you are suffering from “Veganism” disorder that is fine, I don't have a problem with that, but I do have a problem with stupid vegans who try to tell me to be a vegan. No amount of biitching and protesting will change that (a diet without meat, wtf).

My friend hasnÂ’t met Basra yet. Basra would flip out and snap my friend's neck if she didnÂ’t get her fix of meat daily.

Do we have vegans and vegetarians on this board? I wonder.

I don't believe what that doctor told you; it doesn't make sense. One can live without meat or meat products indefinitely; ohne problems. Grains, leguminous crops, vegetables, nuts, fruit, seafood, etc make excellent substitute to meat or meat products.

Let me add this excerpt from Wikipedia:

"It is suggested that eating only fruit, vegetables, grains, nuts, legumes, other plants, and fungi is healthier than an omnivorous diet."

Hey Dave, that's a bit unfair now isn't it- your assertion that-tree hugging Vegans are bidding for world domination. Admittedly I've been preoccupied with my studies and love life of late to have the luxury of watching the 22.00 o'clock news, but Vegans (so far as I know) haven't carried out atrocities against humanity for their animal rights cause.

You've recently turned your wrath and anger in waging a vicious and unrelenting campaign against Vegans. What's with the obsession may I ask? What is it about the conscientious Vegan community that so enrages you? So they're vehemently opposed to the wholesale slaughter of animals , but so what? Surely they ought to be commended for their moral conscience rather than being blasted by the rest of us butcherers that will stop at nothing just so we may enjoy a pleasant taste in our palate?

Wether we're willing to acknowledge it or not, we've all got blood dripping from our hands. How Mother Nature will find it within her gracious self to forgive us sinners, I don't know.

Let me ask you this.Can you eliminate meat from your diet.?

Like I said before I donÂ’t mind vegans, but I do mind when some of them whine, about how I should completely give up MEAT because (animals) have feelings too. And that annoys the hell out of me. Do they really think theyÂ’re making a difference by not eating meat? If they donÂ’t someone else will. IDIOTS. Is not like we are going to stop slaughtering Animals just because a small group of ungrateful and malnourished imbeciles decide to eat a salad and fruit instead of a steak. The sad part is my friend is only vegans because thatÂ’s the way she was brought up. Her parents brainwashed her into thinking that meat is bad for you. I find that truly sad.

I was saying if they try to make you feel guilty about killing animals then you should ask them why they kill the plants by plucking them out of the ground to eat them. Don't plants have lives too?
