I KNOW several gadabursi families. Although relatively sucessful, none of them, at least the parents, hold PhDs or other degrees from Higher Institutions of learning. So from PERSONAL experience, I can attest to otherwise.

That said, I'm not disputing the fact there are many Gadabursi with Higher Education... perhaps on per capita basis more than other clans. What I vehemently object is the rabid clanist prejudice conveyed in such sweeping and factually dubious generalisation. YEs, even saying something GOOD about a clan still promotes clan bigotry. Clanism has torn apart the fabric of Somali society and continues to be at the center of most disputes. Who cares if Gadabursis are more educated than rest of somalis, it means NOTHING as to whether a PARTICULAR gadabursi is educated or is a good person. As you know Somalis judge each other NOT on individual merit but clan reputation. The result of this is evident in the childish clan animosity most somalis hold. THAT is what I'm against not the achievements of a particular somali clan. If what you said is true, my hat off to them. We need more of them.

About me hating, there is nothing to hate. Not everyone is worthy of my hate, certainly not A somali clan. I suppose this is true for most ppl. You don't hate what doesn't mean much to you. Gadabursis don't even register on my radar let alone garner my enmity.

I was being facetious in my first post... you should've immediately been alerted to as clan bashing (when not joshing around) is out of character for me.

Few and several mean the same thing. Both say I don't know A LOT of Gadabursi. You is dwelling on the irrelevant. And you aint gonna get any change from me on your clanist slant.
