How Mogadishu Warlords kept Somalia free of Ethiopians

The ISBAHEYSIGA LA DAGALANKA ARGAXIISIDA kept the Ethiopians out of Somalia. They were combating the terror threat from the Itixaadis and were supported by the West. These "warlords" were ANTI HABASH and were strongly opposed to IGAD peacekeepers.

Now that the UIC has dislodged them, the Itixaadi threat has been outsourced to Zenawi and Abdullahi Yusuf. Now the Habash have captured segments of Southwest Somalia and seem poised to march on to Xamar.

Maxamed Qanyare, Bashir Rage, AbdiQeybdiid, AbdiShugri, and the rest ensured that the West never outsourced the fight with terror to men like Abdullahi Yusuf and his Tigrey Master, Zenawi,

You're right in that they prevented the war on terror from being outsourced, but for the wrong reason...........because the Ethiopians were saved from the dirty job of trying to fight Somalis.

They were not anti-Habashi since they were getting orders & weapons from the Ethiopians. Why was Mohamad Dheere securing MORE weapons from the Ethiopians on the eve of his ouster from Jowhar?

That is not indicative of bad blood....at least not in my book.

The warlords in Xamar allowed the Ethiopian intelligence officials (and who knows who else) free access to any & everywhere in Xamar. Something M Siad Barre would never have allowed........not even Caydiid would have allowed that, and he has my respect in that regard.


These warlords were fulfilling Ethiopia's wishes without Ethiopia having to fight for it...........and that's your justification of these warlords?

Let me think about that

So the moral of the story is:

If you know your blood brother is marked for death by someone, be the loyal good brother and go to that person and offer to kill your brother because it would be shameful for someone else to kill your brother..........I mean who wants their brother's blood on somebody's hands?

Gedo.... The Alliance had the ear and sympathy of the US. Afbiijo lacked the supoort of the USA. This had old Afbiijo pissed off.

Now that the UIC has got rid of the Alliance, AFBiijo is the ONLY alternative. The Habash and Afbiijo have now been given all the cards.

Why couldn't the UIC slowly disarm the Warlords after gaining the upper hand. There was no sense chasing a ANTIHabash, ANTI AFBiijo man like Qanyare to El Buur and then sending out UIC mercenaries to hunt him again. It doesn't make sense. All you do is force these men to the Afbiijo wing out of their need for survival
