yungnfresh wrote:^ that's what I meant about refs swallowing their whistles in the 4th...Wade blatantly got fouled the play before that but the refs didn't call it. That was his way of saying "if you're gonna let us play and just watch, WATCH"
read about the vertical rule

D. Jones went up and down with both hands up. Wade INITIATED the contact. It was a good no call.

I respect Wade for being a clutch player and also winning a ring (albeit he had a lot of help from the refs, shaq and zo) but he is now playing for calls and not taking shots. His mid range game isn't the same as it was and he keeps flopping. His foul of Rondo, his foul on Kobe, his flagrant on Rip (which would have resulted in an ejection), his flagrant last night, the celebrating v. Dallas, the mocking Dirk in the Finals, and wanting to be paid for the Olympics all show his true colors. Add to that how much he complains to officials and I just don't see how anyone can be a fan. He plays with a sense of entitlement and I love to see when he gets shut up.

Ya'll remember the finals?

How did he go straight up when he was sprinting down the court to catch up with Wade on the fast break?! If he had his feet set, that would be a different story...he jumped in the air towards Wade, and Wade did a good job of initiating contact after he left his feet.

Check the first 5 seconds

Wade initiated the contact.

The Heat got a lot of calls in Game 1. The officiating crew last night knew it and weren't going to call the same ticky tack shid

That's the rules though, this year you can't jump into somebody as they're going up and get the whistle...but once they leave their feet, you can go up and draw contact as long as you're not jumping into them. Not to cry foul but....that was a foul bro

Frank Vogel got into the refs' heads by saying "the Heat is the NBA's most flopping team" before the series even began...the thing is, Indiana was #3 in team fouls over the season so them getting called for more fouls than the Heat is pretty consistent with them being called for more fouls than 26 out of the 30 teams in the league.

If Pacers win, FAH should resign, and MenaceHebel should be appointed head mods.

Indiana gets to the line, very true. Frank Vogel is the type of young coach I wish the Wizards would get. Dude has a SQUAD and he has them believing.

Actually it is true that Wade spends too much time trying to get fouled then just focussing on making the shot and playing the game. On top of that He is amongst the worst complainers and expects to be fouled on almost every play. The refs probably just got sick of Him. That actually was a legit foul but He spends so much time flopping and arguing non-fouls that by the time He really is the refs have had enough.

Lakers were up 7 with 2 minutes to go and Kobe turns it over, takes bad shots while the Thunder get run outs and easy buckets. Kobe just literally threw away his chance at a 6th ring.

OKC is sweeping in LA now. A blowout and now a chokejob

The Lakers have been defeated from within. The coach sucks. They gathered the worst defensive players, worst field goal shooters they got into the Lakers. Kobe has been set up to fail. Perhaps Michael Jordan paid to hold back Kobe from obtaining a 6th Ring.

The Thunder stole a game at home. Horrible loss for the Lakers. Kobe cost them the game with missed shots and the turnover. Ron Artest made a GREAT pass to Steve Blake off the inbounds. Westbrook was caught sleeping and nearly cost his team the game. Blake missed but he had a wide open look and those are ones he is perfectly capable of making.

If the Spurs are up by 7 with 2 minutes to go in OKC, I guarantee you Tony Parker or Manu Ginobli aren't going to pull what Kobe Bryant did. OKC's half court offense sucks and there are stretches KD, Westbrook are just jacking shots early in the clock.

OKC also turned the ball over more than anyone per game in the regular season. Yes, more than the Bobcats. That showed up tonight.

With that said, OKC SHOULD sweep the Lakers this weekend. LAL are 1-7 series record with Kobe when they are done 2-0 in a series. They're finished.

Two games in LA are back to backs. Sweep is coming like I predicted.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Kobes selfishness is killing the lakers.
