i played rugby for a couple of years,
but wasnt that much into it, i was addicted to football(soccer for you americans) like any other african.

but my brother played semi professionally for the local club.

plenty of somalis play footy, and we are not all skinny

My high school had a pretty good rugby team. Two somali kids were on the team actually.........I ran track, played basketball freshman year and soccer.

I got to meet some of the All Blacks when I was in NZ! Too bad I don't remember any of their names. I didn't even know what rugby is in till I went there

This might sound strange coming from a home-made afro skinny but I used to get really emotional whenever the All Blacks lost to the Australians. See to us Kiwi's Rugby is more than a sport, it's an identity; we are best at it because it's our national pride.
