He who has Fufu firepower rules the day but for how long can this charade be kept up? We both know Absame do not have the same numbers as Jareer or Digil in 'Jubaland' yet they end up with the lion share.

Goodsheperd, that map illustrates where some clans reside but it does not accurately record population figures or the fact that Harti included clans such as Cowramale who are the dominant Geeljires in the vicinity of Kismayo and bring caano to it. The Harti were and are still a predominately urban group in degmada Kismayo.

What thing that it does illustrate is that west of the river was mainly Darood and East of the River a coalition of different clans.

Look at any UNDP, FSAU or other International NGO report into how towns and degmos are settled and I assure you that one will find that the most densely populated areas bar the city of Kismaayo will be in the agropastoral areas east of the river.

Cowrmale geela Harti aye iijaar ku raaci jireen. Waa Giirgiir. Gaaljecelna waa magan, oo dhulka Harti aye daaqaan. The Harti traders in Kismayo used to buy geel from Maxamed Zubeir iyo Merehan and have it herded by Warday and Cowrmale. Everyone knows that.

My point exactly, Harti or should I say MJ were shrewd town dwellers but did not have the numbers in the mii. The point I was making is not about Harti, it is about the indisputable fact that Madoobe is running a clannist cartel and the distribution of seats reflects this. Check the population figures given in the following link and can you tell me with conviction that some clans have not been underrepresented.

https://docs.unocha.org/sites/dms/Somal ... 202005.pdf

How can Jammaame which has a population that is almost three times as much as Badhade and Afmadoow districts be allocated a measly number of seats. No wonder my Reer Apti have adopted the attitude Recognition or Bust, this is Walaweynism at its worst.

So is this the official list? What is the distribution of the seats in Kismayo? The last list I saw was absolutely insulting. :snoop:

Please in yar ku nooqo what you wrote. You said MJ and then "not have the numbers".
This is gramatically oxymoronic. MJ is the most laandheer subclan within the borders of Somalia. This is also inaccurate because as far as I know MJ have no deegan in Juboyinka. :D

GI bantu I will not even quote your ridiculous map. According to your map, Dusheeg Waamo the best grazing land in Somaliweyn belongs to Hawiye instead of Ogaden
As if Reer Cabdille would allow anyone to graze Dusheega!! Also Beled Xaawo is apparently a hutuwiye town

GS, stop with the pointless rhetoric. All I stated was that in Jubboyinka, MJ did not and still do not have an extensive presence in the Mii. Hence, why the likes of Galjeecel, Cowramale were entrusted with looking after their herds.

Why should people who were workers working on Harti land get any representation??
Take a look at the map I poste, both Cowrmale and Gaaljecel are on the east of the Juba. They should absolutly not get any representation in Degmeda Kismaayo. Think of the land as the Harti ranch and those clans as the cowboys working on the ranch. It does not give them ownership. Do the jareer own the farms in Jamaame?? no they just work on them.
