I liked marehan even before you educated me on them because i read they have 600 years of warfare lol and we oromos always respect brave people.
also isaaq hate us oromo the most from all somali clans, trust me on this, they were killing even unarmed oromo refugees who were settled in their lands in the siad barre days.
siad barre used to encourage OLF AND IFLO to defend those refugees. just goes to show u, oromo and marehan and ogaden may share more in common (interests) than isaaq who wants to stick with their habeshi masters (amara and tigray)
hawdian is mad at me because my dad and his brother were OLF members in an alliance with siad barre.
he wants all oromos to fight and die for his habasha allies. it's amazing how arrogant some isaaq are. wow.
and yes not only sayyed hassan, even ONLF fighters sometimes seek refuge in oromia, and we welcome them with open arms, while somali-land sends ONLF back to ethiopia to die. see how different we are? we are not even somalis and we are still struggling for our own cause, but still will protect innocent peoples.

that thread is interesting ebcause i have Silte blood from both sides of my family (my dads mom, and my moms mom, both, have silte blood)
siltes are majority muslim, and are considered to be gurage, but they dont consider themselves that, because many gurage are christian.

many gurage christians are mad at this fact, because silte petitioned for their own special zone and they got it!
many of them also claim to be oromo. we welcome them in our lands.
