And now?

S.Korea=One of the Asian tigers, producer of many household items, prosperous and very stable politically.

Egypt=Economic basketcase, hot-bed for terrorism, tyranny.

egypt is one of the places where science and agriculture first started. they're history is amazing! its sad to see such a strong and impressive civilisation reduced to this. human beings are so useless at times! Mad the western world stole their wealth and knowledge and has converted them and all 'developing' Rolling Eyes countries into their new-day-under-cover-colonies. well, as long as the leaders of these countries suffer from gluttony syndrome, africa and other developing countries are not likely to prosper. its sad really, the motherland is still being violated.

Not likely to implode.

firstly its becuase egyptians are themost docile people in the middle east,
secondly since the islamist movement was defeated, they have changed tactics and have been succefully toning down their rehtoric and merging with the oppposition movements from the westernized middle classes.

The future looks good, the millitary oligarchy that rule are weakening.
Corruption is the backbone of African countries and Egypt no exception. Unlike other African countries Egypt Is far from civil war. Husni Mubarak and his son will have to go for Egypt to see a better day tho. Still an amazing place to live.
I agree with this. Egypt is corrupted beyond repair but never ever civil war like Somalia or even Sudan.

Not really. Iran maintains an equilibrium of free expression and social stability, the boat rocks here and there but thats it and the mullahs encourage it too.

AS for North Korea, well it has unlimited line of credit from China, so Kim's power is guaranteed Exclamation
