Arabman, the only credit that I can give Al-Shabab is for killing other Somalis/muslims, civilians, students, human rights activists and patriots like Ibrahim Addow a devout muslim who left the USA to serve his country. Al-Shabab takes credit for murdering sheikhs and learned people and chopping off the limbs of poor unarmed civilians. Al-Shabab are murderous cult with armed coons who want to enslave Somalis at the behest of the ideology of some lunatic Arab. I do understand your apologetic stance under the guise of some concoted conspiracy theory, however that does not change the the fact the Al-Shabab are a murderous group with blood on their hands. Al-Shabab has killed, and maimed a generation of Somalis and they have accomplished NOTHING and will NOT accomplish anything.
