Abdikarim, the Isaaq folk that harbor unionist sentiment, be they friends, randoms or family.

Unionists are rare and given the delicacy of the topic, one must tread carefully before initiating a discussion :whew:

It's random, however, they have to agree under the term of DIR WAQOOYI. There is no Isaq or reer Sheikh I sahaq on 4.5 system

Why bother approaching Somaliland if you don't show respect in the first place? Disrespect in the 4.5 system, 3 ministers out of 25. No President, PM or Speaker. At least show an effort that you are serious for reunion. Not that Somaliland would care for it but atleast meet the bare minimum to establish respect so Somaliland can even phatomn to entertain such a ridiculous idea. This is a circus of animals. All Somalia is bringing is "you are part of us". What kind of nonsense is that? The few Somalilanders who entertain the idea of unity are put in a tight position and are basically embarrassed when reality hits them

If they are rare as you correctly point out, you cannot refer to them as "average"
for that would imply they are normal.

An Isaaq unionist is abnormal, unnatural and knows not to rear his
head for he'd be condemned for the treasonous scum that he is.

Do not put the words average somalilander and unionist in the same sentence again  :D

Tell me you are eating khat and you're not that stupid.

If there are 3 Isaaq unionists in the entire world and they were aged 21, 23 and 45 you would add them all together and divide it by 3 making the average age of an Isaaq unionist 29.6. That doesn't mean it's normal to be an Isaaq unionist.

The average unionist means the views a unionist is likely to hold.

Let's assume there are only 3 Isaaq unionists in the entire world:

Isaaq unionist 1: I like cats
Isaaq unionist 2: I like cats
Isaaq unionist 3: I like rabbits

The average Isaaq unionist in the above case likes cats.

Why would Somalia be a failed state because it recognizes the reality that Somaliland is sovereign?
FIrstly sovereing means to have a world diplomatic relations. Somalia is now a sovereing country and today the japan ambassador has arrived mogadishu...every month a new 4 ambassadors arrive usually. The south sudan crisis and who saved the somalis in there is a big example to tell who is sovereign

Now to your question; after the south sudan seceded from the north, sudan(the north/the whole sudan) was labeled as a failed country and when the south gained its independence they call it the birth of a failed state!.

This move has destabilized the whole sudan including the west and now the south itself!!.

The same thing may happen to somalia if it considers to take the same move, it may destabilize the whole somalia and even somaliland will need a patron state like ethiopia for its stability(we read the ethiopian deputy fm having sent a message to abdiwali gaas concerning the eastren somaliland regions)

The animosity between mogadishu and hargeysa will get larger and it won't solve the problem just like ethiopia is still at war with asmara or between the sudanese genarally. Thus, the somali govt can't be responsible for making somalia a failed country but if this choice was reached from the outside world the govt won't take the responsibility.

I have listened to an interview with guleed and he said that he follows the govts 6 pollar policy wich one of them states to reach a unity, however, I believe he doesn't fit for this job.

Sahal,

Somalia has been a failed state for more than 23 years now. Somalia giving de jure recognition to Somaliland will not change the situation adversly. In fact the situation might get better in that Somaliland can help Somalia get back on its feet. There is a somali proverb " Colka wadhaf ma lagu dayey". Meaning did we try something different? 23 years Somalia has been saying Somaliland can't get separate but all that has accomplished is the citizens of Somaliland & citizens of Somalia have been drifting apart ever since.

I think the mutual recognition of Somaliland & Somalia and co-operation, including Djibouti would herald a new dawn for Somalis in the horn. In fact, Somalia is at its weakest moment today because today there is the occupation of Kenya & Ethiopia and the rest of the AMISOM countries. However, when Somaliland gets its de jure recognition it will have a seat in IGAD and the UN which will bolster the voice of the Somalis two three. There would be no need for foreign involvement in Somalia because Djibouti & Somaliland would help Somalia pick up the pieces.

All in all, it is a win win situation for both Somalia, Somaliland & Djibouti.

^ walaal u dont understand that large amounts of people in somalia hates somaliland more than the gaalo neighbouring them due to jealousy and delusion. it is wrong to suggest that we should help our enemies who wish bad on us and conspire against friendly nations like kenya and ethiopia who have done us no harm
