I am glad that you wrote that in Somali. Si fiican baad arrintaas iyada ah af Soomaali ugu qortay, oo weliba reerkaan iska ba'ay ee Soomaali ugu ceeb qarisay.

But why did you change the dialect and chose southern accent when we all know you're a 'qowdhan'? Maad inagala kara yaraysid?

With respect to your description of Somali problems, you're on-point except one: Scapegoating Arab Muslims. There is no Arab culture that invaded us; we're Muslims and they're overwhelmingly fellow Muslims. Therefore, when it comes to Sunni Islam, we follow the same faith. On this point, I would say let us not project our failures on others.

The rest of comments are on the spot. I would only advise not to lose hope on Somalis. Just make du'a and insha'Allah Allah will open a door for us.

Btw, it is a good start we talk about our problems, so we can accept them, and insha'Allah we can move on solutions.

Not saying a lot but...
It depends on what you mean by 'Somalia'. Which Somalia do you speak of? North-western? North-eastern? Central? South-western? Southern? South-eastern? Mogadishu? Where, exactly?

Somalis are in the mayhem they are in because there is a lack of compromise, forgiveness, and foreign interference that takes advantage of our division.
Who brought the foreigners in 2006? 1982? Post 2006,etc.. :ducktales:

I chose her because she was a famous Somali musician. Ironically one of her most famous songs was "Dalkayga waan jeclahay, dadkayga waan jeclahay". Isn't it a bitter irony that she should die unjustly at the hands of a group of fellow Somalis! They shot her in the head on a street corner in broad daylight... waxaas aa lagu abaalmariyay! Such a waste of human life.

I am from mixed Somali heritage with family from all over Somalia, hence the confused dialect.

The foreigners have their own agenda, but if we're gonna look at the people who brought them, we'd find them in all Somali clans.

Btw, why did you leave out in 1993 and even the ones who are inviting them today.

Even in Arta government, Somali leaders were calling for foreign forces

Nevertheless, foreigners are in Somalia because of Somali division and mistrust. Let us accept that fact!

SL is only marginally better. In many ways it is a deeply corrupt, callous, egoistic society that is only Islamic on the surface. In the words of another member...

Futurist;

I agree with you our people messed up and morally bankrupted. if you keep thinking about contradiction of our acting is mind blowing.
no matter how much you pray, fast , go to haj, how much you know about islam and you lie about welfare and cheating!! how people do not question that!! why in our communities is acceptable and not shaming them as long they do all that and wear hijab?? but once a girl or female wears pants hell froze and islam ka bey jeebka kala so bahayan!!

I am done long time ago.

Lighatnight, I am liking this character. I will pay attention what you write here.
