Siyad Barre has done many monumental blunder in somalia. However, He has given an entire Somali population that graduated from high school freedom to go on with their uducation (free education) many afterwards graduated from University.

Yes, he was an idiot, dictator and tribalist, but He was a true Somali. That I will give him credit for....and thanks.
