The President of the former Sanaag now Maakhir is President Jibrel. I am not familar with a Gadweyn (colloquial Warsangeli term for midgaan) being appointed the govnor of either eerigabo/Maakhir. I am aware of the community leaders in Western Sanaag who are Isaaqs and manage their own people there.
