Good
Nobody wants to deal with a second hand wife unless that was his choice in the first place..You just can't play around and claim to be a Virgin...
I wish there was a way to find out if a guy is a virigin or not

I think she thought by the time he figures it out they are already married and can't do anything about it. This should take the prize for all the dummies out there thinking you can trick someone into marriage

the thing is old habits die hard.
If you are used to a variety of menus.
I guess only one menu for life will be a prison sentence.

I gotta side with the court on this one. The guy wanted to marry a virgin...she told him she was virgin, then he found out she wasn't. She misrepresented herself. She broke the contract. That's what this was about.

"Justice Minister Rachida Dati shrugged off the ruling until public clamour reached such a pitch she asked the prosecutor's office this week to lodge an appeal."
what exactly do they hope to achieve with an "appeal"? reinstate the marriage? like WTF??
ala maskiinsanaa taasi, she thought she could get away with such a lie? i mean he's gonna find out anyway so why lie. whata doqon

If the guy had claimed that he was a virgin and then witnesses, or say a video tape claimed otherwise, an annulment would be allowed as well, am guessing.

her ass should have never lied
Re: 'Virgin' bride ruling stirs furor in France
There are many decent women who happen to not be virgins before getting married, especially in this day & age.
However, A decent women shouldn't lie about it if she is asked straightforwardly.
Even if she declined to answer it would be better than giving a false answer.
If I asked a women straight up and she said "No" I could admire her honesty for that.
