Abdulle Nur Wasuuge, the only Somali to ever win a Gold medal at the ALL AFRICA GAMES in the High Jump. He won it in 1973 at the All Africa Games in Lagos.

Walle, the 1987 Somali basketball team was good at the All AFrica Games in Nairobi. The referees were bribed to favor Angola at the game which was very close.

I think he dead 2 years in Mogadisho if I am not mistaken. 87 games were the best. Btw, our team was eleminated by Kenyan team after our players started fieght where several of the best ones were kicked out of the game.

Yeah, I remember that game. 1987 represented the best showing for SOmalia.
