Cheap Skate Friends Who Always Want to Borrow

I hate cheap skate friends who try to always borrow from you and say they will pay you next time and it takes weeks.

One of my friends is notorious for that. We went out to eat for breakfast. The check comes and he says, "Spot me since he does have any cash on him." So i pick up the check and drove him straight to the ATM. Last time I spotted him it took 8 weeks & 4 phone calls to get $40.

Its not that I really care about the $40 but the principal. If he was genuinely broke and asked me to pay for dinner and not "borrow", I would have obliged.

I have resorted to asking for separate checks when I dine out with some folks.

We should go for mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing........Go out doors and get out of the city once a while to appreciate nature.. I'm thinking going to New Hempshire wilderness for a long weekend

Not to mention the infamous Africa Cup at Hampton Beach The East Africa team used to kick the arse of those greasy West Africans.

I will be back there at the end of the summer to do some trainings. We should meet up and chew some khat

Anyways...Hampton Beach is the best beach I have seen in the USA so far...

We are about 10 strong. 4 up near the Canadian border, 2 in Concord and 4 in Southern NH. Some of them are folks I knew from back in the good old days.


Hampton beach sux, fully of cheap folks. If u want a nice beach, you should head to the Cape or better yet Newport, RI.

Im pretty lucky that I dont have friends that do that. Then again, I can count on a single hand how many somali friends I have and most of them are young prof. like me.
Its funny tho, when we go out...we kinda fight over who pays...we all kinda grab the bill. So now what we decided to do what who evers' meal is on the top would pay!
