Thoughts of the day
Asalaam Alaikum all,
A prayer for the Dead: May Allah have mercy upon all of the deceased of the Muslims. May He grant them firmness in answering. May He widen their graves and fill them with light and many pleasures. May He protect them from any punishment and harm in the grave or in the hellfire. May He enter them into the highest of Paradise in the companionship of the prophets, martyrs, truthful ones, and the righteous. May He make the deaths of deceased a lesson for those they have left behind. May He grant comfort, solace, and firmness to those they have left behind, and may He replace all of their sorrows and dismays with unlimited pleasure and joy in this life and the next. Ameen!
A moment for those ill in this world: May Allah (swt) grant you all Shifaa when you think of Him, pray to Him, or hold Him upon the tips of your tongues; May He ease your suffering and pain; May you never have to feel sorry for yourself that you forget about your Lord and those that are still more in a critical condition than you; May your jihad be accepted. Ameen!
For those unfortunate: May Allah (swt) grant you all wealth: wealth in wisdom, wealth in knowledge, wealth in piety, and wealth in iman; then surely you can never leave this world as empty souls for the Hereafter. May you be granted patience and ease. May the fathers be able to feed their children with their own hands and the mothers care for their own children with their own hands and may children never have to see their parents suffering for them. May your Jihad be accepted. Ameen!
For the Hafidheen: May the word of Allah (swt) always be upon your tongue. May you strive to teach others what you have learned. May you do it for the sake of Allah (swt) and not for arrogance. May Allah (swt) grant you patience and ease during Tafseer. Ameen!
For the Mujahideen: May Allah (swt) give you strength to face the enemy, May He grant you Victory, and shake the earth beneath them. May He keep you steadfast, may He remove all obstacles and calamities from your way, and may He unify you upon the Qur'an and Sunnah, and may you always perservere and emerge as Victors. Ameen!
For the Muslimeen & Muslimaat: May we all be guided upon Siratul Mustaqeem never looking upon the other paths. May Allah (swt) cleanse our hearts from grudges, jealousy, and hate that we hold against each other. May we keep Allah subhana wa ta'ala in our hearts always; May we never be the followers of Shaytaan. May Allah (swt) increase our patience like Nabi Ayub (AS), our beauty like Nabi Yusuf (AS), and our wisdom like Nabi Muhammad (SAW). May we speak only the word of Allah (swt) and begin with His name. Muhammed is the most common name in this world and may every Muhammed live up to his name! May we have the ability to forgive and forget. May we glorify and praise Allah for everything He has created and destroyed. May we all meet in Jannatul Firdous!! May we provide unity amongst ourselves more than we boast about the madhab/sect we follow. Ameen!

Jzk sis Amiin
Since this topic is about thoughts, I have a question and anyone here can answer it to the best of their capabilities inshallah. I read an ayah in the quran that says that once one passes the test in the grave what shall come after is easier and for those that fail what shall come after is harder, so does that mean the former are guaranteed heaven and the latter hell?

Xamud:- Wa iyaakah walaal.
I know the Hadeeth you're referrin' to, but I'm not too sure of the answer, so I won't hazard a guess in case it might be wrong. Lets wait for Sheikh hyperactive, Kolombo, Navy9, Mr.Yungfresh etc to show up...insha-Allah

Advo:- I believe the title of the thread is 'Thoughts of the day' and NOT 'Food of the day'...sorry walaal cunto ku maa haayi. But I pray you never run out of donuts for the safety of others..
Thanks for lettin' me know you're free to answer questions later this afternoon.
Aren't we feelin' a lil inquisitive today? lol. Abaayo, I know they feel pain, that's why we have to treat them with care when washin' them etc, but I don't know if they feel more pain than those alive...
Sis, I was readin' about the crossin' of the Siraat (Bridge) and oh goodness, some will crawl, some will run, some will speed like lightnin', some of us our deeds will fall short and we'll fall in to it..
Subhanallah!! Let us be of those who run across it, insha-Allah.
Buhodle-Gurl:- Wa iyaaki sis.
hilal20:- Your welcome walaal. lol, that's 'cause I'm not. Just think of me as your sister in Islam.

Hey! I'll have you know sheikh Yungnfresh taught me a lot.Gifted wrote:Firefly, did you just say shiekh yungnfresh? woopdi doo.![]()

Re: Thoughts of the day
Firefly, Amiin to ur Duca's and JazaakaAllahu Kheyran for posting this...it helps us reflect on how fortunate we are by remembering how unfortunate others are. Did you write the Duca yourself?
Gifted,
. What a dumb question! I'm playing...in all seriousness tho, I'm gonna abstain from answering because I'm not positive of the answer. I do know the grave is an indication of meeshaad ku dambeyn doontid but I'm not sure of the specifics and what the grave will be like for those destined for Heaven after spending time in Hell.
Advo, I'm schizophrenic.
