Is GREATER SOMALIA dream alive?

Post by Abdi_Som »

my wish and prayer is that one day all somali people will unite and create greater somalia. :som:

but i am having hard time admitting that the dream might be over

why?

#1. there is no way we will be able to take NFD from kenya. as somalia becomes more impoverished, our people are fleeing to kenya as refugees, instead of NFD somalis fighting for liberation

#2. Djibouti can not join greater somalia. first because of its stability.. second because the afar ethnic group of djibouti would not allow that

#3. the Ogaden region is failing against other pro-ethiopia somalis in the region. the ONLF has already split into two groups while isaaq and other somalis in ethiopia are killing ONLF soldiers everyday

#4. we can not be sure about Somaliland. if the sharif TFG fails completely, the western governents will recognize somaliland and it would be over.

#5. even the mainland somalia aka southern/central somalia can not fix its problem. Xamar is going deeper into crisis. it can be the next afghan if sharif fails because america and co will continue interfering

what do you think about all these??
is GS dream over??

Instead of asking yourself whether Greater Somalia is achieveable, you should reconsider your thought and perhaps put your focus on who and what is causing the turmoil that is getting out of control by every week for the past 20 years. To find the solution to Greater Somalia, one must develop a pure and sensitive heart for the sole purpose of wishing to see hermony between the different waring clans in the Somali community around the world.

knight,

i don't know how we are going to solve the animosity between somali clans, sub-clans etc.

maybe can we create clan country? for example, instead of having somaliland, puntland etc, we should have overt ISAAQ land, Hawiye Land, Darood Land etc....then we can unite all these LANDS into one GREATER SOMALIA nation 8-)

Who said women can not find Vegeta attractive? His bullying character and his lack of sense of humour can be attractive to women who like strong no nonsensical men.

Goku and his Son were my favourite characters in that cartoon way back.

Vegeta's hubris and feelings of entitlement added to the attraction. One of the best episodes was Trunk's arrival to fight Freeza

Greater Somalia is too narrow a goal. Somalis, Afars and Muslim Oromos should all band together to make a new state with the capital at Harar. Call it Adal 8-)
