I have heard the story of the children of Carre. As the story goes, Carre, was an old man blind man and so he required a lot of assistance by his sons. One day as he was sat under a tree to rest he asked several questions. Carre asked, "who carried me to the tree?" his sons replied "dad it was Muuse" in which he replied "I pray that you use your knowledge in the future". Carre asked "who is feeding me the milk" so the sons said "its Ismail dad" and therefore he said "oh son Ismail may you multiply into many offsprings". Again he wondered "who brought me the water for ablution for my prayer", so they said "its Isaxaaq father" and he said "may you prosper". Finally he asked for the other three of his sons who where nowhere to be found and in reply to their absence he said "may you be heard of but never seen in your lifetimes". So you will hear about those three sons and you will never see them because they so rare. That been said let me explain the duas he bestowed on the other three. Muuse carre is now known to be the educated class because thats what carre blessed them with "knowledge". In the other hand Ismail has multiplied and now is more than any other habar yonis subclan. Last but not least Isaxaaq today is known to be the intrepreneurs throughout the world and particularly in Somaliland. So whats the moral of the story youngsters? be good to your parents.
