What africa needs to stop being fed and aided. Get over persecution complex. Get higher self steem. Educate the masses. Stop blaming others for own mistakes.
Prove this works: all the nations on earth, both past and present, who got out of poverty and backwardness and propelled themselves into first world nations.

The base problem is the worlds human population is simply becoming too large. In some areas we will see serious crisis and warfare develop because of water shortages. Water is not only critical for drinking and bathing, but for growing food. Those countries that are largely desert must generate revenues to buy grain. And when they can't, and when the global economy is strained, it's a surefire recipe for serious warfare. I think this budding problem, which we already see examples of in the low-lands of the horn, is really going to explode about the time oil starts running dry in the Arabian peninsula.
Mad Mac
I disagree. the world isn under-populated not over. This "population explosion' argument is a reflection of the Darwinian fears of white western demographers subconciously terrified of the idea of millions of brown and black people rutting away and producing millions of mouths to feed.
Africa is virtually empty so is America north and south. Australia and Russia too. We use less than 1% of teh world's fresh water and the worry over the next few hundred years is the economic impact of food mountains not famine.
Lets look at the evidence and take India as an example. 70 years ago there were 600 million Indians and seasonal stravation was the norm. Today there are over a Billion and India is a net exporter of food. Same applies to China as well.
Any rational scientific study will come to the same conclusions: The world can esaily accomodate another 10 billion people without much problems. the Population density will still be below that of Britain today.
